To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.
Provide assistance to the hearing and visually impaired in the Raleigh and Frayser Communities. And to assist in providing assistance to individuals internationally.
The Community Assistance Program has been established to work with local businesses, schools, and individuals to better our communities. With this program, we will be able to offer free eye, glaucoma, and hearing screenings. Also, we are able to work with private schools to screen students for vision and hearing problems. To further benefit the community, we are working with LensCrafters to provide approved individuals with an eye exam and eyeglasses.
If you are interested in the Community Assistance Program, please contact Melody M. Page Bishop at send an email. If you are in need of eyeglasses or hearing aides, please inquire about an application for assistance. If you are a leader or a parent at a private school, please inquire about the Sight & Hearing Van.
We are eager to serve our community. Please contact us for more information.
